Refund policy

At Rare Earth Carpentry, most items are made to order or custom-made based on the customer’s requested specifications. For this reason, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on custom-made or made-to-order items once the order has been confirmed and production has started.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of confirmation. A partial refund of the deposit may apply depending on the order status and any costs already incurred.

Once production has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

Defective Items

If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and order details. After inspection and approval, we may offer a repair, replacement of the affected part, or another appropriate solution.

Exclusions

Refunds and returns do not apply to:

  • Change of mind

  • Approved custom specifications

  • Customer-approved dimensions, finishes, or design details

  • Natural variations in wood, stone, marble, veneer, or other natural materials

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications

Warranty

We provide a two-month warranty against manufacturing defects only.
